We specialise in creating and refurbishing lawns. We own an array of specialist equipment enabling us to efficiently prepare and lay new lawns of any size.
Whether the new lawn is going to be created from seed or turf, the process is the same.
- The area is cultivated to remove compaction. This improves drainage and makes it easier for the new roots to penetrate.
- The existing topsoil is profiled and extra good soil can be imported where required. This ensures that the new lawn meets and finishes just proud of the hard landscape surfaces for ease of mowing.
- The area is stone-buried, leaving a fine tilth and profiled to a fine finish with mechanical rakes to remove imperfections.
- Hand-raking before fertilising the seed selection; seeding, final hand-rake and final roll.
- For turfing a new lawn, we lay best quality turf, delivered directly to site.
- On a newly turfed lawn, we carry out the initial watering and advise on aftercare.
- Our aftercare includes selective weed control and additional fertiliser where required, once the grass is strong enough.
